Football boosted Serritslev

Head of Delegation for the Papua New Guinea Men’s football (Soccer) National Team Joseph Ealedona has praised PNG Kapuls coach Flemming Serritslev for a job well done.

“This coach is God sent,” he said.

Ealedona said this when replying to a post on social media on the achievement of the PNG National Football team through PNG Kapuls coach Flemming Serritslev for creating history in football for the country in the FIFA world ranking and Oceania.

Kapuls had flourished under Danish coach and their place at 159th reinforces the success the nation has had over the past 12 months.

“The players and we in the management treat him with respect and a fatherly figure,” Ealedona said.

“But he is straight forward. You attend training and answer to his demands you earn his respect.

“He wants to build a team of discipline and principle. If he says breakfast time is breakfast time that is the time, if you one minute late with no good reasons your discipline mark is added and you face dismissal no matter how good you are and that is the team he wants to build with discipline on and off the field,” he said.

“We are getting there,” he added

Another poster John West praised Flemming for his work saying, “he has done a great job and is one kind of a coach. He does not discriminate or promote favoritism. He is just another outstanding coach currently in the PNG team.”
