Ela Motors rewards children

Papua New Guinea children under the age of 15 can now travel to Japan if selected in the Toyota Dream Car art contest.

Launched on October 1,  Ela Motors has given this chance to children to draw their dream car and win great prizes.

Ela Motors chief executive officer Takeshi Abe today re-emphasised  the competition and called on all the children across the country to participate and be part of what the company is doing.

“Ela Motors is here for the community and this is one way of giving back to the community by fulfilling the children’s dream,” he said.

There are three categories in the competition:

  • Category 1: ages 1-7;
  • Category 2 : ages 8-11; and
  • Category 3: ages 12-15

Ela Motors will select the top three best winning pieces of artwork from each category where the winners will be eligible to participate in the world contest in Japan.

Abe is calling on schools to participate in this competition.

Ela Motors will be providing colours and other stationaries to schools that are willing to participate.

The competition will end on Feb 12, 2016.
