Don Bosco Technical school winner of Youth Blood Drive 2016

Don Bosco Technical School, Gabutu is the winner of the Youth Blood Drive 2016.

The students have donated a total of 429 life-saving bags of blood in three visits by the blood bank team this year.

Youth Blood Drive, Director, Anna Megueria congratulated the school and students for cooperating with the team, in collecting a huge number of blood bags.

“We’ve been saving a lot of people with the blood you have donated. Your school is very inspiring, and you should be proud of being part of the school,” Megueria told the students.

On behalf of the school, Fr. Ambrose Pereira thanked the blood team for visiting the school and encouraging the students to donate blood.

“We enjoyed your visits to the school to educate the students on the importance of giving blood. Thank you blood bank team and a special thank you to those students who have donated blood,” Fr. Ambrose said.

Sir Brian Bell Foundation CEO Bronwyn Wright was thrilled with the success of the Youth Blood Drive 2016 that launched on the 14th June this year.

The Sir Brian Bell Foundation is the exclusive foundation partner for the Youth Blood Drive and provided the necessary funds to make this program possible.
