David Mead sends best wishes to PNG teams

PNG LNG Kumul captain David Mead has sent best wishes on behalf of the Kumuls to the PNG Men’s Soccer team and the PNG Barramundis that will be taking part in upcoming matches.

Both teams will be playing international tournaments on home soil in the coming days.

The PNG men’s soccer team is among eight countries that will be participating in the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Nations Cup over the next three weeks.

PNG Barramundis will be playing against Kenya in the ICC World Cricket League Championship on Saturday May 28 and on the 30th.

“Good luck to David Muta and the National Men’s Soccer team during the OFC matches over the next three weeks.

“And also good luck to Jack Vare and the PNG Barramundis in their matches against Kenya this weekend.

“On behalf of the PNG Kumuls, we wish you all the best. We are with you all the way in doing our beloved PNG proud,” Mead said.

Mead also acknowledged Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, Sports Minister Justin Tkachenko, the Government and the people of PNG for the support towards the PNG Kumuls.

He also thanked the team’s sponsors namely PNG LNG, National Gaming and Control Board, Digicel PNG, PNG Power, Coca cola and Boroko Motors for assisting the team in terms of funding and making their games possible.
