Charity group receive rice for Christmas Program

Life PNG Care (LPNGC) organisation have received a donation of 10 bales of Skel Rice from Goodman Fielder International today as part of their Kina for Kindness Christmas program.

LPNGC director Collin Pake says he is overwhelmed with the donation given to them for their Christmas program.

“The Kina for Kindness program was an in house initiative suggested by six year old Sebastine last year during the festivities.”

Pake says since last year, we started this particular program where the kids themselves prepare meals for the donations we receive for this program and they walk the streets to pass out to theses meal to their peers.

The kids are as young as 6 to 19 years old and come from different backgrounds and include orphans and neglected or abandon children.

“We are thankful to Goodman Fielder International for coming to our aid this Christmas and we are looking to serve 500 to 600 meals this Christmas and unlike last year, we could only serve 200 meals.”
