Businesswoman calls for unity

Doing business in Rabaul will never be the same, says business woman Sandra Lau.

Mrs Lau said now that the country has turned 41 years old, the mindset of business entrepreneurs must change as well.

Speaking at the independence celebrations in Rabaul on Friday, Lau called for unity among the business community in the province.

She said doing business in the province now is not the same as it was in the last two decades.

“Now, the country is 41 years old and you cannot start up a business easily. Working in partnership with the business community will be the focus of starting a business and expanding business activities in the province and the country as a whole,” she said.

She added that unity is the key to every problem in the province.

Lau further thanked ENB Governor Ereman ToBaining Jnr and other leaders in the province for their tireless efforts in bringing the province to where it is now.

Lau is the owner of the famous Tropicana Ltd.
