Australian official to officiate at DWU ceremony

Acting Australian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea Ms Bronte Moules will be the keynote speaker at the opening of Divine Word University Alumni Park next Monday at the Madang campus.

In an official program circulated through email to the former DWU students, it says the Polish Consul in Sydney Ms Regina Jurkowska will give her speech followed by the keynote address by Ms Moules.

The programs says the blessing and dedication will start at 9am in Sir Peter Barter Auditorium where DWU President Fr Jan Czuba will give his welcome address  in the presence of former DWU students who have been part and parcel of DWU since its establishment.

It says that after the official keynote address there will be the dedication and recital commitment pledge for DWU community and the Alumni led by Archbishop Stephen Reichert who is the Archbishop of Madang.

The program lists the blessing of the alumni park and the official opening with unveiling of a plaque and the announcement of DWU 2015 Alumni with named affixed on the wall.

The program ends with reflection by 2015 Alumnae of the year and refreshments.
