Apple files new patent to make it easier to spot autocorrections

Apple is finally going to sort out its auto corrections so you can save yourself the blunders while sending a message.

According to Techradar, Apple has filed a new patent to the US Patent and Trademark Office that details plans to highlight the autocorrected words with a blue underline.

Following the same format as alerting users to spelling mistakes made on the device, which are usually underlined in red, it should let you know something in your message has changed if you haven't already spotted it.

However, we're willing to try anything to limit confusion and awkwardness over text, which already has huge potential for ridiculous misunderstandings.
