Marum yet to finalise squad to take on Devils

Coach of the SP Hunters, Michael Marum, is yet to finalise his 18-man squad for this Sunday's clash against the Norths Devils.

Marum revealed that fullback Stargroth Amean and utility Noel Zeming are both under injury clouds.

He said Amean struggled to train during the week and is currently being monitored by the physio while Zeming is still carrying an injured arm and fractured wrist.

Marum went on to say if Zeming is ruled out, 18th man Butler Morris will be slotted in to take his place.

Forward Brandy Peter will miss this weekend's game after Marum explained for personal reasons.

This has pushed Enoch Maki into the starting line-up.

The final squad will be finalised before the Hunters leave for Australia on Saturday.

Marum said he is expecting a tough game against the Devils, who have a few players with NRL experience.

"It's going to be hard to beat them at home and we will need to start the game off strong to come away with a win," said Marum.

Kick off for the game is at 3pm on Sunday at Bishop Park.
