PBF Agro, RPNGC ink horseback facility deal

PBF Agro Business Ltd and the Royal PNG Constabulary signed a Memorandum of Agreement recently to establish the first ever mounted horseback training facility at the proposed Koitaki Agro Food Park.

The horseback training facility is part of the overall master plan of the Koitaki Agro Food Park.

PBF Agro Business Ltd CEO, Jerry Kootz Simon, said there is a lot of good land for grazing.

He said police will need to set up its mounted horseback training ground, especially for the new police personnel.

The MOU also captures police housing.

Kootz said Central PPC has welcomed this proposal, describing it as beneficial for both parties.

Kootz added, police housing under this agreement will relieve housing issues faced by officers and importantly, gives Pacific Balanced Fund and Melanesian Trustee Services Limited security for the investors.

The Royal PNG Constabulary and PBF Agro Business are working together to have this significant project off the ground.
