NCD police get support from Theodist

A small but significant community service gesture was witnessed this week, as Stationary Supermarket, Theodist Ltd, came to the assistance of NCD police with paper donation, worth over K21,000.

The assistance shown by Theodist Limited will go a long way in Policing includes recording crimes using specific forms to avoid cases being thrown out by the courts; a challenge police officers face in the country is with stationary supplies, even for police in NCD.

On Tuesday the Stationary supermarket, made a donation of 240 boxes of A4 papers, enough for all 11 stations in NCD.

“The papers will be used for police statements, information, charge sheets, operation message cards as well as disposition sheets as well and Theodist is happy to assist,”says Theodist Sales Manager, Kevin Anderson.

NCD MetSup Perou N’Dranou in receiving the papers worth K21, 780 said this is not the first donation by Theodist.

“So we have a challenge of having enough forms to do daily police operations hence we thank Theodist management who saw the need,” he said.

“To print specific forms available at stations, at present you cannot find those forms to do our policing so one again thank everyone in Theodist for their community service,”The Metsup added.
