NBPOL donates K50,000 to quake disaster

The New Britain Palm Oil Foundation has donated K50,000 in food supplies to the quake disaster provinces in Southern Highlands and Hela.

Receiving the donations on behalf of the provincial governments was Hela Administrator William Bando.

New Britain Palm Oil Country Manager, Robert Nilkare, said the least they can do is to assist the quake disaster by donating K50,000 to the victims.

He said although it was a substantial amount but they do feel for the victims in the quake disaster provinces.

“We are very sorry and our condolences to those families who have lost loved ones and properties.”

Meantime Hela administrator Mr William Bando thanked NBPOL for their donations and said they never expect such donations but said it will be used for a worthy cause.

“Thank you so much NBPOL for such gesture in donating this huge amount of money.

“We are in trying situations and such donations comes at a right and for a good cause,” says Bando.
