Kwikila students encouraged to aim high

A graduation ceremony is a time to be excited and be merry as one embarks into a new journey in the education ladder.

Stap stap, is the motto that holds together most of the students in Kwikila secondary, who according to Deputy Principle, Toutu Ogwaesi, braved some if the hardest challenges during their stay.

Despite being declared a disaster prone school with deteriorating facilities, the school will now see 189 grade 12 students pass out from the school.

During the 16th graduation ceremony which began around 11am today, Chairman of government council, Kone Burana, stated that it is a sight to behold when seeing a large number of students pass out  with flying colours.

He encouraged the students to reach higher still, as this is only the first phase of climbing the education ladder.

The Kwikila secondary school is one of four secondary schools in the Central province that caters for students all over the Central province including Hiri, Gulf and Kairuku.

Also present at the graduation are dignitaries including the Member for Rigo Lekwa Gure, who will be the key note speaker.

The governor for Central Robert Agarobe will also be making an appearance later in the day.
