Relief supplies to the earthquake affected areas in the Highlands Region is continuing with the Papua New Guinea Defence Force coordinating the movement of the supplies out of Mt Hagen.
Joint Task Force Operations Officer Bourquin Eremas says relief supplies of food items, including tanks, chainsaws and sawmills, are being delivered.
The supplies are purchased by the Government from the disaster relief funds while other supplies are from donors.
The supplies are purchased according to the need of each affected areas based on reports on ground.
Eremas says PNG Defence Force will continue to assist the coordination of supplies until the Controller's office advices otherwise.
