Australia High Commission Bruce Davis was in Manus on Wednesday this week to visit some of the AusAID funded projects in the province.
PPC Manus, Chief Inspector David Yapu, said High Commissioner Davis was accompanied by Police Minister Hon Jelta Wong, where they visited the upgraded Manus Provincial Police Headquarters.
Davis was later accompanied by Manus Open member and National Parliament Speaker Job Pomat, where they visited other AusAid projects in the province like the Momote/Lorengau road, Lorengau main market, Doctors’ houses at Lorengau General Hospital, Manus Training Centre and later to the Naval Base at Lombrum.
Yapu thanked his Excellency Bruce Davis and the Police Minister for visiting the new Provincial Police Headquarters, and the new police station which is now in use.
