Youths in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville will attend a week-long Youth Forum on Peace-building and the Referendum Process in Arawa, Central Bougainville.
The event will start tomorrow Saturday the 18th of August and will end on the 24th of this month and will coincides with the annual International Youth Day which falls on the 19th of August.
It will feature various issues relating to the current peace building efforts and the Referendum Process.
The Forum with the theme – safe space for youth and opportunities for participation in decision –making within peace building and the referendum process is been supported with funds by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The Bougainville Youth Initiative is also focus at empowering youths both socially and economically.
