Vision City expo to test market

The second Vision City Expo will be used by management to test the market for potential companies to trade within the Mega Mall.

Vision City Marketing Manager, Maureen Esta said this during the launching of the expo on Wednesday in Port Moresby.

She told Loop PNG that while the expo provides exposure for the companies, it will also give them an indication of the current market for specific products and services.

“For example, if there is an available shop, we can contact which one of this companies are viable for us to accommodate because, obviously we want sales rather than just having a stall there. We want to make sure that the customers have the best products in POM or in the whole of PNG,” said Esta.

About 19 companies have registered before the deadline on June 9th and will participate in the two-week expo from June 26th to July 8th.

Esta said following the first expo, which only ran for a week, they decided to extend the expo to give companies more exposure to promote their products and services.

Companies will also be awarded for the ‘Most Decorative Booth through Customers’ vote, ‘The Most Interactive and Innnovatove Booth,’ and ‘Media’s Most Favourite.’

Winners will receive a certificate and two Backlit Posters at Vision City for the next six months free of charge.
