Pacific companies to promote products at Coffee and Chocolate Show

Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) New Zealand has partnered with 6 Pacific companies to promote a range of high quality coffee and chocolate products at the Coffee and Chocolate Show 2017 in Auckland this weekend.

Wilex Samoa, a 100% locally owned family business, is showcase its delicately crafted KOKO LOA brand of chocolates.

The KOKO LOA is a new boutique cocoa brand that proudly celebrates its Samoan origins.

Elife’s Samoa Wild Tumeric is another Samoan product that will be promoted at the show this weekend.

Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, Elife’s Samoa Wild Turmeric Juice is uniquely prepared with alkaline ionised water to ensure you experience its unique and natural flavour, without the interference of additives and preservatives.

The award winning Tanna Coffee of Vanuatu will give the public an opportunity to try their unique and flavoursome coffee.

Tanna Coffee accomplishes its award winning high quality coffee through natural means; by hand harvesting only optimum, ripe cherries, same day processing, natural fermentation methods and sun drying. This ensures that only a truly natural product is produced without the use of any harmful sprays or chemical fertilisers.

A family owned and operated business in Tonga, Tupu’anga Coffee will also exhibit its coffee.

The coffee beans that are 100% Arabica beans are grown, harvested and produced in Tonga.

The Arabica Coffee plantations are situated on the islands of Tongatapu, ‘Eua and Ha’apai. Tupu’anga Coffee works with co-operative farms through ethical trade to engage the Tongan staff involved in the farming, processing and sales of Tupu’anga Coffee.

Solomons Gold from the Solomon Islands, Paradise Foods from Papua New Guinea have also been invited to display their products.

The products will be on display at the Pacific Hub in The Cloud in Auckland this weekend.
