NASFUND launches Employer Awards

NASFUND has launched the first ever Annual Employer Awards.

 

The first ever industry initiative by NASFUND is to acknowledge the partnership with NASFUND’s contributing employers as well as engage levels between the fund and the employers.

The announcement was made today in Port Moresby.

The Annual Employer Awards will acknowledge he best performing employers who have abided by the Superannuation Act 2000, particularly section 85 and 90.

It is also intended to lift the level of engagement between NASFUND and employers and is the first of kits kind to be done by a superannuation fund in PNG.

The awards comprise 6 categories and include:

  1. Contributions;
  2. Voluntary Contributions;
  3. Member account maintenance;
  4. Benefit payments;
  5. Best Voluntary Contributing Employer (Under 15 staff);
  6. NASFUND Chairman’s Awards – Best Overall Employer

Winners will be announced during the 2018 Employer Awards Gala Night on Thursday 26th November 2018.

NASFUND has thanked the commitment and efforts of the 2, 600 employers around PNG for the best interest of its member’s retirement funds.
