The ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Charles Abel, and founding Director of Moni Plus, Bernard Chan.

Alotau signifies the fifth branch opening for Moni Plus in 2018, with other branches recently opened in Downtown Port Moresby, Lae, Mt Hagen and Kokopo this year.

“We have had strong relationships with our key partners that are based in Alotau and the wider Milne Bay Province and we hope with the opening of our branch, it shows we are making a significant investment in the people and business opportunities in Milne Bay Province,” Barve said.

“In Milne Bay we are already serving customers across our four products ‐ Personal Loans, Asset Finance, our renowned Foreign Exchange service and our competitive Term Deposit.

“We are obviously ready and positioned to help more customers in this province and are keen to do business, straight away in these product lines; I believe our new customers will be pleasantly surprised by our fast and efficient service.”
