KPHL backs Medical Symposium

Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited (KPHL) has backed the 2017 Medical Symposium with a K20, 000 funding.

KPHL made the presentation today to Chairman of the organizing committee, Dr. Osborne Liko, in Port Moresby today.

This is the third time KPHL has backed the annual event, which brings in medical practitioners from around the country, region, and globally.

Presenting the cheque to Dr. Liko, KPHL Social Inclusion Coordinator, Sylvestor Rawela, said the sponsorship is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing Papua New Guineans by creating value and opportunities.

Dr. Liko, who was accompanied by Doctors Esther Apuahe and Keno Temo, thanked KPHL for the backing for the 53rd Symposium.

He said the organizing committee needs around half a million Kina to host the event which they booked at the Stanley Hotel and Suites.

The theme of the Symposium is ‘Access to Safe Surgery and Safe Anesthesia.’

The event will be held from September 3rd to September 8th.
